The Helping Horseshoe Therapeutic Riding Club, Inc. a registered 501.c.3, provides therapeutic horseback riding and equine-assisted activities for children and adults with special needs.

Our Mission

The Helping Horseshoe Therapeutic Riding Club, inc is dedicated to enriching lives through all forms of Equine-Assisted Services. We are committed to supporting therapeutic horses throughout their working years and into retirement, ensuring their lifelong well-being. In addition, we proudly collaborate with and support organizations that provide valuable services within the adaptive and equine-assisted community, promoting inclusion, and growth through the power of the horse-human connection.

Therapeutic riding helps individuals with a wide range of physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities improve:

• Self-esteem and emotional well-being
• Social and communication skills
• Balance, muscle tone, posture, and range of motion

Each lesson focuses on fostering connection, empowerment, and growth through the power of horses.

Horse Training

Her training approach is rooted in kindness, communication, and partnership, helping horses learn in a positive, effective way. Whether you're refining your horse's skills or working through behavioral challenges, Kara will help you develop a harmonious working relationship.
